Kimaada Sills

Associate Director

Kimaada Sills is an Associate Director at the Joseph C. Cornwall Center for Metropolitan Studies. Ms. Sills has been with the Center since 2012 and has years of experience working in social services, resource development, and youth development programs. She oversees the operations of the Cornwall Center’s growing staff and budget.

In her eight years at the Cornwall Center, Ms. Sills has been a leading force in securing over $4 million in grant funding from the State of New Jersey and local foundations. In securing such funding, Ms. Sills has had the opportunity to work closely with community development programs throughout the state. She has also co-led focus groups for formative assessments. To further her commitment to community development, Ms. Sills is a board member of University Heights Charter School and a proud graduate of Leadership Newark.

Ms. Sills holds a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning with a concentration in community development from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Africana Studies at Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
